The Enforcement Division acts upon receiving complaints of violations of Act 737 and verifies them through intelligence activities, undercover operations, and physical inspections of individuals and premises. Subsequently, if the violation is proven with sufficient supporting information and evidence, action will be taken to suspend or revoke the establishment’s licence. For more serious cases, raids and searches of premises will be conducted to assist investigations. All cases involving enforcement operations will proceed with the opening of an Investigation File for prosecution in court.
